Booking Policies & Customer Guidelines

Terms of Use

  1. Our bouncy castles are suitable for children aged 12 years and under. The Toddler Bouncy Castle is suitable for children up to 3 years of age only. Adults must not use the inflatables unless specifically stated.
  2. No party poppers, coloured streamers, confetti, or silly string are permitted on or near the inflatable. If the equipment is returned dirty or contains food wrappers, decorations, or other rubbish, a $50 cleaning fee will apply.
  3. No food, drinks, chewing gum, or confectionery are permitted on or around the inflatable to help prevent choking hazards and keep the equipment clean.
  4. All shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges, and sharp objects must be removed before entering the inflatable.
  5. Smoking, vaping, open flames, and barbecues are strictly prohibited near the inflatable.
  6. Climbing, hanging, or sitting on the inflatable walls is dangerous and is not permitted.
  7. A responsible adult (18 years or older) must supervise the inflatable at all times during use.
  8. Do not overcrowd the inflatable. Please limit users according to their age and size, and avoid mixing older children with younger children.
  9. Pushing, rough play, wrestling, flips, collisions, or any behaviour that may cause injury is strictly prohibited.
  10. No pets, toys, bicycles, scooters, sharp objects, or other equipment are allowed on the inflatable.
  11. Anyone suffering from back or neck injuries, medical conditions, or feeling unwell should not use the inflatable.
  12. If the inflatable is not being used for an extended period, switch the blower off at the mains.
  13. No person may be on the inflatable while it is being inflated or deflated.
  14. A minimum clearance of 1 metre (3 feet) must be maintained around the inflatable at all times.
  15. The blower must never be used or left in the rain. Water damage to the blower will result in a $200 damage fee.
  16. If the blower stops operating, remove all users immediately. Check the power supply, cables, and blower tube. Allow the blower to cool for 2–3 minutes before restarting. If the problem continues, contact Bounce Taupō immediately.
  17. All bouncy castles are designed to be installed on grass. If your setup location is concrete or another hard surface, you must advise us before delivery so appropriate anchoring equipment can be arranged. Additional charges may apply if this has not been advised in advance.

Late Returns

Rental equipment must be returned at the agreed time. Equipment returned more than 1 hour late will incur a $30 late fee. An additional $30 per hour will be charged for every hour thereafter.

Late return fees are applied at the discretion of Bounce Taupō.

Cancellation Policy

Bounce Taupō does not offer refunds.

If your booking cannot proceed due to unsafe weather conditions such as heavy rain or high winds, your deposit will remain valid and may be transferred to another available booking date within 6 months of your original booking.

If you cancel your booking for any other reason, your deposit will be forfeited. No exceptions will be made.

Disclaimer

All persons using the hired equipment do so entirely at their own risk. The hirer accepts full responsibility for ensuring the equipment is used safely and in accordance with these terms.

The hirer accepts full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from misuse, negligence, or failure to follow the supplied safety instructions.

Bounce Taupō accepts no responsibility or liability for any injury, accident, loss, or damage arising from the use of the equipment once delivery and setup have been completed.

The hirer agrees to return all equipment in the same condition it was received and accepts responsibility for any cleaning, repair, replacement, or damage costs incurred during the hire period.

The hirer confirms they have read, understood, and accepted these Booking Policies and Customer Guidelines before the commencement of the hire.

The inflatable must be installed exactly as instructed, with all supplied stakes or approved anchoring equipment correctly fitted before use.

The inflatable must not be used or erected during strong or extreme wind conditions. Bounce Taupō reserves the right to refuse setup or cancel a booking where weather conditions are considered unsafe.
